How each one works

Unfollowers Tracker asks for a username, not a login. Its servers read the public follower and following lists for that handle and store a snapshot. The first scan gives you non-followers and mutuals; unfollowers appear from the second scan onward, by comparing snapshots. Free accounts scan on demand and keep scan history; Premium unlocks the complete lists, scheduled automatic scans and up to five tracked profiles. Because it reads public pages, private accounts can't be scanned at all. Be aware that a cluster of near-identical domains — unfollowerstracker.com, unfollowerstrackers.com, unfollowertrackers.com — sell similar scans under similar names; this page is about unfollowerstrack.com.

UnfollowChecker never connects to your account. You ask Instagram for your own data (Accounts Centre → Export your information → Followers and following, JSON, All time), Instagram emails you a ZIP in roughly 10–20 minutes, and you drop that ZIP on this site. The comparison runs in your browser tab; the file is never uploaded. The count is free, the followers and following CSVs are free, and the two-export unfollowers comparison is free. Safety and account risk

Both tools pass the password test on how we test. Neither logs in as you, so neither can trigger the suspicious-session warnings and action blocks that login apps cause. Unfollowers Tracker does collect follower data from Instagram's public pages with automated requests, which is on the wrong side of Instagram's terms — but that risk sits with the service, not with your account. The practical consequence for you is that the scans depend on Instagram leaving those pages readable; when access tightens, scans fail or go stale.

UnfollowChecker reads a file you already own. It can't be rate-limited, blocked, or shut off by a change on Instagram's side, and because the comparison runs in your browser, there is no copy of your lists on any server. The trade is that you have to go and get the export, which takes 10–20 minutes of waiting the first time.

What you get

Unfollowers Tracker's free tier is a preview: a taste of unfollowers (dated by when the scan detected them), non-followers and mutuals, with the full lists behind Premium. Premium adds a timeline of follow changes, scheduled scans, and multiple profiles. We could not find a CSV export. Everything depends on the account being public, and unfollowers are detected only as of the next scan, so it is a periodic check rather than live monitoring.

UnfollowChecker's free tier is the count plus free CSV downloads of your full followers and following lists with follow dates, and a free two-export unfollowers comparison. The paid part is the full non-followers list at $2.99 and fans and mutuals for $3. It works on private accounts and on Threads and TikTok. It cannot look up anyone else's account and it keeps no history unless you keep your ZIPs.

Price

Unfollowers Tracker Premium is $4.99 a week, $14.99 a month, or a $0.99 three-day intro that converts to $39.99 a year. The weekly plan is the one people forget: left running, it is roughly $260 a year. The $0.99 intro is cheap to try but converts automatically, so set a reminder if you take it.

UnfollowChecker: $2.99 once for the non-followers list, $3 for fans and mutuals, everything else free. There is nothing recurring. If you check twice a year, you're comparing about $6 with somewhere between $40 and $260.

When Unfollowers Tracker is the better choice

Choose Unfollowers Tracker if you want an answer in under a minute without touching Instagram's settings, if you want to look up a public account that isn't yours, or if you'd like scheduled scans to keep a running history without any effort. Those are genuine advantages; an export-based tool can't match the speed or the third-party lookup.

When UnfollowChecker is the better choice

Choose UnfollowChecker if your account is private, if you want the complete list rather than a preview, if you want your raw lists as CSV, or if you'd rather pay once than manage a weekly or yearly renewal.
